Strengthening the power behind future growth.

As a trusted project partner, we supported Toyota Motor Corporation Australia to upgrade and future-proof the intake substation that supplies the Altona site. Working across high- and low-voltage power systems, protection, control and communications, we provided the project management and technical advisory needed to plan, stage and deliver the works while keeping a live operating facility energised.

Services provided

  • Project management
  • Technical advisory and review
  • Multi-year capital planning and budget control
  • Stakeholder coordination
  • Risk and issue management

Outcome

Despite the complexity of working within a live, brownfield environment, AND Network helped Toyota deliver the upgrade with no interruption to operations. We added value well beyond our original scope – identifying and resolving gaps in the project scope, providing the technical depth to keep delivery on track, and acting as an extension of the client's team through a demanding program. We also drove momentum across external stakeholders, including the network operator and metering parties, to keep critical approvals and connections moving. The result was a complex upgrade, delivered safely and seamlessly, with AND Network providing the steady hand that held the project together.
